Terms of use.
The agreement that covers reading Vazunor. It is an editorial guide. It does not take bets, sell tickets or make reservations.
Please read this. Vazunor is a free guide for adults. Nothing on it is an offer to gamble, a prediction of winnings, or a relationship with any casino, club or restaurant named in the text. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site.
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and the publisher of vazunor.com (“Vazunor”, “we”, “us”). They cover your access to the site, including the casino, games, nightlife, pool, dining, responsible-gaming, privacy and terms pages, and any page that replaces them.
By using the site, including by confirming that you are 21 or over, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. If you use the site for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind that organisation, and “you” includes it.
2. The publisher
The site is an independent editorial publication. It is not operated by a casino, a gaming licensee, a hotel group or a tourism board. A separate company name and registered address are not printed in the footer. For legal notices, use [email protected]. We will identify the publisher on request.
3. What the site is
Vazunor publishes writing, photographs and video about a night in Las Vegas: casino floors, table games, machines, nightclubs, pool parties and dining rooms. That is the whole service.
- We do not offer gambling, accept wagers, hold stakes or pay winnings.
- We do not sell chips, tickets, guest-list places, hotel rooms or restaurant tables.
- We do not open or manage a player account, a loyalty account or a reservation in your name.
- We do not provide a paid subscription. Reading the site is free.
We may change, pause or remove any page, story, figure or design at any time, without notice. We do not promise that the site will be available without interruption, or that every video and photograph will load. Those files are requested from other companies, as the privacy policy explains.
4. Who may use it
The site is directed at adults who are at least 21 years old, the age at which a person may gamble in a Nevada casino. You may use it only if that is true of you, and only if the law of the place you are in allows you to read material about casino gambling.
The age question on the site is a self-declaration stored in your browser. It is not a check of identity, and passing it does not make you a customer of any venue. If you are under 21, leave the site. Parents and guardians should supervise younger people’s internet use so they do not reach it.
You are responsible for any device, network and account you use to view the site, including a shared computer.
5. Not advice, and not a wager
The games pages explain how common casino games work and quote house edges as long-run mathematical averages under widely used rules. They are education about how a game is built. They are not:
- gambling advice, betting advice or a system for winning;
- financial, investment, legal or tax advice;
- a promise that a table, machine or rule still matches the description when you arrive;
- an invitation to play for money, or an assurance that play is legal where you are.
Every casino game described here has a house edge, except where the text says otherwise (the odds bet in craps, under standard rules). Over time the house keeps a share of the money wagered. Past spins and past hands say nothing about the next result. You can lose everything you take to a table. If you choose to gamble, you do it with a venue of your own choosing, under that venue’s rules and under the law, entirely at your own risk.
6. Accuracy
We take care with the guide, and Las Vegas changes quickly. Casinos, clubs, dayclubs and restaurants open, close, rebrand, move, change hours, dress codes, minimums, show line-ups, menus and table rules without telling us. A house-edge percentage is an average under a stated rule set. A real table may pay 6 to 5 instead of 3 to 2, may use a different wheel, or may apply a different limit. History notes and record jackpots are given as reported background, not as a certified record.
Confirm anything that matters — whether a venue is open, what a game pays, what a night costs — with the venue itself before you rely on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not accept a duty to update every fact, and we are not liable for a decision you make because a page was incomplete or out of date. If you spot an error, email [email protected] and we will correct what we can confirm.
7. Intellectual property
The text, the layout, the visual design, the roulette illustration drawn by the site, and the code that runs the pages are owned by the publisher or used under licence. All rights that are not expressly granted here stay with the publisher.
You may read the site, link to it, quote a short passage with credit and a link, and share a page address. You may print a page for your own private reading.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- copy the text, design or code onto another site, or into an app, newsletter or dataset, for a commercial purpose;
- present the guide, or a substantial part of it, as your own;
- sell, license or frame the site so that someone else pays you for it;
- remove credits, copyright notices or the responsible-gaming information.
Photography is used under the Unsplash License. Video is used under the Mixkit Stock Video Free License. Those licences bind us and, where they grant rights to viewers, they bind you as well. They are not a grant of the underlying venue’s own imagery. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts under their own licences.
8. Names, marks and photographs
Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Wynn, Encore, The Venetian, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, MGM Grand, Fontainebleau, Circa and every other resort, club, restaurant, game and event name in the guide belong to their owners. Writing about them is editorial. It is not sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or affiliation, in either direction.
Photographs and video are illustrative. A picture of a roulette wheel, a dining room, a pool or a night street is not a claim that the camera was inside the venue named nearby. Do not treat an image as a depiction of a particular property unless the caption says so.
If you are a rights holder and believe a page uses your work in a way the licence does not allow, email [email protected] with the page address, the material, and proof that you control it. We will review good-faith notices and remove or replace material where the claim is sound.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it, by using the site;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its host, or another reader;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site, or breach security, except through a good-faith report to us of a flaw you have not exploited;
- overload the site, or scrape it so aggressively that other readers cannot load it;
- use the site to send spam, malware, or misleading messages;
- use the text to build a competing commercial guide that copies its structure and expression;
- imply that Vazunor, or any venue named here, employs, endorses or hosts you;
- use the site to harass staff of a venue, or to publish someone else’s private information.
Automated access that respects a normal reading pace and does not republish the guide is acceptable. Access that substitutes for the site, or that trains a model on the full text without permission, is not.
10. Other sites and venues
Links to helplines and to the policies of Unsplash, Mixkit and Google are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A venue you visit after reading the guide deals with you on its own terms: its house rules, its prices, its refusal-of-service rights and the law of Nevada or of wherever you actually are. We are not a party to that visit and we do not insure it.
11. Responsible gaming
Gambling can become harmful. The guide is entertainment writing, and the Responsible gaming page is part of these terms. If you gamble, set a budget you can lose, do not chase losses, and do not play with money meant for essentials. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER. Nevada casinos can explain self-exclusion. Nothing on this site is a substitute for that help.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, quiet enjoyment, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site is error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that pages or files are free of harmful components.
Some places do not allow an implied warranty to be excluded. In those places, the exclusions apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes a right that a consumer-protection law says cannot be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the publisher and its editors, contractors and hosts will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or the cost of a substitute service, whether or not we were told the loss was possible, and whether the claim is in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising out of the site or these terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100), which is more than the price of using the site. The site is free.
We are not liable for gambling losses, travel costs, unused reservations, cover charges, or any other cost of a night out that you booked or played after reading the guide.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids that limit, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
If you misuse the site, break these terms, or infringe someone’s rights while using the site, you will cover the publisher’s reasonable losses, liabilities and costs (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) that result from a claim by a third party. We will tell you about the claim, and we will not settle it in a way that admits fault on your behalf without your agreement, which you will not unreasonably withhold. This section does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own breach or negligence, and it does not apply where your local consumer law does not allow it.
15. Privacy
The Privacy policy describes the small amount of information involved in a visit. It is part of the bargain of using the site. The age confirmation and the intro flag stay on your device. Email you send us is handled as that policy says.
16. Changes
We may change these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The new terms apply to your use after that date. If you keep using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. A change does not reduce rights you already have in respect of a visit that happened before the change, except where the law allows and the change says so.
17. Suspension
We may block or rate-limit access if we reasonably believe a visitor is harming the site, scraping it in breach of these terms, or using it unlawfully. We will not do this to silence ordinary reading, criticism or a correction.
18. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the place where the publisher is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would point somewhere else. The courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also bring a claim in the courts of your home country where a consumer law gives you that right and forbids this clause from taking it away. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any court that has jurisdiction.
The place of establishment is not printed on this page. Before you file a claim, email [email protected] and we will tell you. Please write first in any case: many disputes about a factual error can be fixed by correcting the page.
These terms do not require arbitration, and they do not waive a right to participate in a class action except where you have agreed to that separately and the law allows it. A mandatory consumer right is not waived.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. There is no sale of goods.
19. General
- Entire agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement about the site. They replace earlier versions of the same pages.
- Severability. If a court holds that one clause cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. The unenforceable clause is modified only as far as needed to make it valid.
- No waiver. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. A waiver of one breach is not a waiver of the next.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms. We may assign ours to a successor of the publication, provided your rights are not reduced.
- No third-party beneficiaries. Venues named in the guide are not parties to these terms and cannot enforce them, except that a rights holder may enforce section 8 in respect of their own material.
- Language. These terms are written in English. A translation, if one is ever offered, is for convenience. The English text controls if they differ.
- Headings are for navigation and do not change the meaning of a section.
- Relationship. You and the publisher are independent. The site does not create a partnership, agency, employment or joint venture, and it does not create a duty of care beyond what the law imposes and these terms preserve.
