Your privacy.
How this editorial site handles information. There are no accounts, no payments, and no advertising profiles.
The short version. Vazunor does not ask you to create an account, does not take payment, does not run advertising or analytics, and does not sell personal information. Confirming you are 21 or over is saved only in your own browser. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to put in an email to us.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy describes the website at vazunor.com (the “site”), published as Vazunor, an independent editorial guide to Las Vegas casinos, table games, nightlife, pool parties and dining. It applies to anyone who visits the site or writes to [email protected].
Vazunor is not a casino, sportsbook, hotel, nightclub, restaurant or booking service, and it does not operate gambling. Venue names appear only as the subject of editorial writing.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the publisher of this site is the controller of any personal data described below. Write to the address in Contact to reach the person responsible for privacy questions.
2. What we do not collect
The site has no accounts, sign-up forms, comment forms, checkout, newsletter or user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment card, government ID, location or gambling history.
- No advertising cookies, pixels or marketing tags.
- No analytics product that builds a profile of your visit.
- No sale, rental or exchange of personal information.
- No automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
3. What stays on your device
Two small values are written by the site into your browser. They are not cookies, they are not sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Age confirmation
Nevada casinos are for adults 21 and over, and this site is written for that audience. When you choose “Yes, I’m 21+”, the browser stores the value yes under the key vz-age in local storage. That is the only reason the age question does not appear on every page. Choosing “No” stores nothing. The confirmation is a self-declaration. It is not identity verification and it does not admit you to any casino.
Intro animation
After the opening animation plays once, the browser stores a flag under the key vz-seen in session storage. It lasts only until you close the tab or the browser, and it exists so the animation does not replay on every page of the same visit.
Both values are strictly necessary for the feature you just used. You can delete them in your browser’s site settings. The age question will then appear again.
4. Email you send us
If you email [email protected], we receive the address you send from, any name in your message, and whatever you write. We use that only to read and answer you, to keep a record of the correspondence, and to meet a legal duty if one applies. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass the message to advertisers.
Please do not send copies of identity documents, payment details or account passwords. We do not need them, and we will delete them if they arrive.
5. Hosting and server logs
Like almost every website, the server that delivers these pages may keep a technical log of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring address, and the browser type. Those logs are kept by the host for security, abuse prevention and to keep the site online. We do not use them to identify you, to measure an advertising campaign, or to build a profile.
The current host’s name is not published on this page. Email us and we will tell you who is serving the site at the time you ask.
6. Third-party services
Pages are assembled from our own files, then the browser requests media and fonts from other companies. When it does, those companies receive your IP address, browser details and the address of the page, under their own policies. We do not control them and we do not receive a copy of what they log.
- Unsplash serves the photographs, from images.unsplash.com. Unsplash privacy.
- Mixkit serves the background videos, from assets.mixkit.co. Mixkit license and policies.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces Cormorant Garamond and Manrope, from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google privacy policy.
Your browser may cache those files. Blocking third-party requests will hide images, video or fonts, and the text of the site will still be readable.
7. Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. It does not use a cookie banner because there is no optional tracker to accept or refuse. Storage described in section 3 lives in local storage and session storage, not in the cookie jar.
A third party listed above could set its own cookie when your browser requests a file from it. We have not enabled advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not read third-party cookies.
8. How information is used
Where personal information exists at all, it is used only to:
- deliver the pages you request and keep the site secure;
- remember, on your device, that you confirmed your age and that the intro has played;
- answer email you send us;
- comply with law, respond to a lawful request, or protect the site, our readers and other people from harm or fraud.
We do not use personal information to advertise to you, to score you, or to decide whether you may read the site.
9. Legal bases
If the GDPR, the UK GDPR or a similar law applies to a visit, we rely on the following:
- Legitimate interests — publishing the guide, keeping ordinary server logs for security, and answering email. Our interest is running a free editorial site. It does not override your rights. You may object, as described below.
- Consent — the age flag is stored only after you choose it, and only on your device. You withdraw it by clearing site data.
- Legal obligation — if a law requires us to keep or disclose a record, for example a correspondence we are required to retain.
We do not process special-category data (such as health information) and we ask you not to include it in email.
10. Sharing
We share personal information only in these cases:
- Service providers who host the site or deliver email, and only so they can perform that job.
- The media and font providers in section 6, because your browser contacts them directly.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or when disclosure is needed to protect someone from serious harm, to investigate abuse of the site, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
- A successor if the publication is transferred, in which case this policy or a successor policy will still describe the use.
We do not share personal information with casinos, resorts, clubs, restaurants or advertisers because someone read a page.
11. No sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those words are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We have no actual knowledge of selling the personal information of anyone under 16.
In the twelve months before this policy’s date, the categories a California resident might recognise are limited to: identifiers you put in an email (such as name and email address), and internet activity that a host may log (such as IP address and pages requested). We do not collect commercial information, geolocation, biometric data, professional information or inferences drawn from your visit.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and similar US state laws give residents rights to access, correct, delete and opt out of sale or sharing, and to appeal a refusal. Because we do not sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of. To use any other right, email [email protected] with the state you live in. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
12. International transfers
The site is readable worldwide and describes a place in Nevada, in the United States. Hosting, Unsplash, Mixkit and Google may process technical data in the United States or another country that does not have the same data-protection law as yours. Where a transfer of personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland needs a safeguard, we rely on a provider’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, as applicable, or we limit the transfer to what is needed to deliver the page or the reply you asked for.
13. How long anything is kept
- On your device — the age flag stays until you delete site data. The intro flag ends with the browsing session.
- Email — kept while the conversation is open and for a short period afterwards so we can find what was said if you write again, then deleted. If a message becomes part of a legal claim or a duty to keep records, it is kept for that period and no longer.
- Server logs — kept for the host’s ordinary security window, which we expect to be measured in weeks or months rather than years, and then deleted or aggregated.
14. Security
The site is static pages. There is no password database and no payment store to breach. Email travels through ordinary internet mail, which is not perfectly private, so do not use it for secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not promise that it is.
15. Children
The site is meant for adults 21 and over. It is not directed at children under 16, and it is not directed at anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to [email protected] and we will delete the message.
16. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- be told whether we hold personal data about you, and to receive a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate;
- delete data, or restrict what we do with it;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided, in a portable form, where the law gives that right;
- withdraw consent, where processing was based on consent;
- not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right;
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
In the EEA you can contact the authority in the country where you live or work. In the United Kingdom, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Because we hold almost nothing unless you have emailed us, many requests can be answered by confirming that.
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to confirm that the address belongs to you before we send or delete anything. We aim to reply within 30 days, or within the shorter period your local law requires. If we refuse, we will say why and how to appeal or complain.
Device storage you can delete yourself, without writing to us, from the browser settings for vazunor.com.
17. Do Not Track and global privacy control
The site does not track you across other websites, so a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing optional to switch off. We treat a visit the same way whether or not the browser sends one.
18. Links to other sites
Pages link to responsible-gaming resources, including the National Problem Gambling Helpline, the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling and Gamblers Anonymous, and to the policies of Unsplash, Mixkit and Google. Those sites have their own rules. A link is not an endorsement of their privacy practices. Venue names in the guide are not links to a booking account we control.
19. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. A change that starts collecting personal information we do not collect today would be described here before it begins. Continuing to read the site after the date of a change means the new policy applies to visits after that date.
20. Contact
Privacy questions and requests go to [email protected]. Please include “Privacy” in the subject line so the message is read as a rights request rather than a general note about the guide.
